Wow, what an amazing weekend I just had, enjoyed from Thursday to Monday night, went to the beautiful city of Prague for the second time in my life, had an awesome time in Dresden with new friends, went to the border between Germany and Poland, may be Ill stay here in Germany till Christmas, which I would really want to see how is it here, and good news keep coming as I’m writing this message, As I wrote last week, a positive mental attitude can bring you more things than thousands of hours of hard, unhappy, work.
A couple of weeks ago, I had a chat with one of my best friends from who I have learned enormous things about life, we were talking about some “problems” that I had, which weren’t real problems, just imaginary, and he made me recognized that I maybe very fortunate for all the amazing things that I have, and I started to realized that I may have not been grateful with life as I should. Later on, listening to one of the greatest man on the 21st century, Og Mandino, I started to realized how important is gratitude, gratitude to life, to being able to see, listen, speak, have sex, move, etcetera, and started to think, really think, about how many people in the world would be more than happy to exchange their life for mine, as Og Mandino said, is enough for you to open a newspaper and take a look on the section where all the people who died today appear, and read their names, no matter how many problems, how many imaginary problems do you have, any of those people who just died today would be more than happy to take your life with all those “problems”, if they would have the chance to do it.
Og Mandino also says that gratitude is one of the big secrets for success. Im sure from the 6 thousand million people in the world at least 5.5 thousand million would like to have the life I am living today; our problems SEEM so big (but are so small), that we don’t realized all the blessings we already have. I am sure all of you dear readers have been listening the same things about gratitude and being grateful since you were 5 years old; my mother used to tell me these things but I never pay attention, until a few weeks ago, since I had that chat with my friend, I realized that if I stop concentrating on the things I don’t have and complaining about irrelevant things, my life could change dramatically, as it is happening now. Remember that everything arise from your mind and the way you think, and being grateful can boost, really boost the arrival of great things to your life.
Today I invite you to appreciate all the things you have around, from your eyes that can let you read this, to your family, you friends and this awesome world of opportunities where we are leaving in now!
